B2 Compute$107.00Perfect for a 13" laptop or tablet computer as well as accessories and paperwork.
Includes Shoulder Strap and Main Handle.
The B2 Compute is the FLEX System computer bag.
The outside dimensions of the B2 is 13.5” x 10.5” x 3.5”. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.) See the SPECS tab for Inside dimensions.
The B2 is perfect for anyone who wants a small, efficient 13” computer bag. The B2 consists of the End Cap Front, a Center Section 2, and a End Cap Rear. Combined, you have small, efficient laptop bag.
Storage on the B2 starts with the Front End Cap. The Front End Cap has nine exterior pockets which gives you lots of ways to separate and organize all the little things that go along with a computer such as power cords, chargers, batteries, backup drives, USB drives, digital cameras, smart phones, tools, keys, etc.
Next, comes the CS2, which is designed to hold 13” laptops (Many, but not all, 14" laptops will also fit.) The CS2 can be accessed by opening the two zippers that open the entire rear panel, exposing a gray interior.
And finally, the Rear End Cap has three flat pockets that allows you to store your items. The main outside pocket with flap for your iPad, todays charts, documents. The vertical-zippered slip pocket for manuals. And finally, the flat half-height slip pocket for your checklist or boarding pass.
An inherent feature of this (and all FLEX) configuration(s) is that there is a built-in additional storage space that naturally occurs BETWEEN the different modules that are zipped together. Therefore, on the B2, you get an additional "pocket" between the Front End Cap and the CS2, and another narrow "pocket" between the CS2 and the Rear End Cap. These "pockets" are full-sized, so clipboards, manilla folders, and even thin laptops (like the MacBook Air) can fit in here.
The CS2 is padded on all sides. It is an adequate amount of padding for basic protection. It is not heavily padded, so you'll want to carry sensitive items with a normal amount of care.
This bag also includes the Portfolio Handle which can be attached to the Front End Cap. This handle will only be used when you decide to remove the CS2 and zip the Front End Cap and the Rear End Cap together to make a "Portfolio Bag". The Portfolio Handle is not strong enough to carry the entire B2.
So if you are looking for a small, flexible, efficient Computer bag, look no further than the B2 Compute. -
B6 Convey$125.00A small bag with a ton of storage. Perfect VFR Pilot Flight Bag or basic response bag.
Includes Shoulder Strap and Main Handle.
The B6 Convey is the FLEX System VFR Pilot Flight Bag and Carry On travel bag.
The B6 is 13.5” x 10.5” x 5”. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
The B6 Convey is the perfect Pilot Flight Bag for VFR Pilots, but also has many uses outside aviation. For the VFR Pilot, one often needs only the essentials when going flying: Headset, sunglasses, GPS, todays charts, kneeboard, radio, etc. With the B6 Convey, you get a Front Bag, a Rear End Cap, a Side Pocket Alpha (Radio pocket) and a Side Pocket Charlie (Pen pocket).
Storage on the B6 is accomplished in a number of ways. On the Front Bag, you have the nine pockets on the front, followed by the main storage area. These front pockets hold your mobile phone, keys, wallet, fuel tester, flashlight, Multi-Tool, Biz cards, and a camera or electronic E6B. The main storage area comes with a divider shelf as well, and holds headsets or a GPS. On top of the bag is a pocket for sunglasses. There are two FLEX Mount Pocket stations on both sides of the Front Bag.
Finally, with the Rear End Cap, there are three ways to store your items. The main outside pocket with flap for your iPad, todays charts, documents. The zippered slip pocket for manuals. And finally, the flat half pipe slip pocket for your checklist or boarding pass.
The B6 is perfect for that day trip or spending time in the pattern perfecting those landings. Why bring more bag than you need? The B6 Convey also makes a fantastic travel bag. When traveling, store your 13” laptop, power cords, smart phone, snacks, pillow, iPad, magazines, iPod, keys, DVD’s etc., in a small efficient bag that fits right under the front seat. It really is the perfect carry-on bag. -
B10 Classic$143.00A small bag with a ton of storage. Perfect VFR Pilot Flight Bag or basic response bag.
Includes Shoulder Strap and Main Handle.
The B10 Classic is the FLEX version of our award-winning original Pilot Flight Bag. It's the perfect Pilot Flight Bag for VFR to light IFR and can satisfiy most pilots needs. It's also a great travel and business bag since it will hold a 13" laptop plus accessories.
The outside dimensions of the B10 are 13.5” tall x 14” wide (including the additional width of the two external pockets) x 10" deep (including the pockets on the front cover) on the outside. See the SPECS tab for more dimensional information. And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand somewhat in every direction.
The B10 Classic is assembled by combining a Front Bag, a Rear Bag, one Side Pocket Alpha (Radio Pocket), and one Side Pocket Charlie (Pen Pocket).
• On the Front Bag, you have the nine pockets on the front. Yes, it looks like there are only three pockets on the front panel, but each pocket you see is actually three pockets. A main pocket, a secondary small elevated inside pocket, and then a flat pocket on each pocket cover. These nine front pockets do an unbelievable job of organizing all your small stuff. You know - the stuff that just ends up getting jumbled up all together in the bottom of all your other bags. Organize your mobile phone, keys, wallet, fuel tester, flashlight, multi-tool, business cards, chargers, cables, cords, batteries, digital camera, electronic E6B, etc. The main compartment of the Front Bag comes with a removable and adjustable divider shelf so you can hold one headset and a portable GPS or a flight guide. Or you can hold two headsets of any kind. This compartment is 13" x 9.5" x 4" on the inside, so you can store anything you need that will fit in that space (Like a change of clothes, or your lunch). And finally, on top of the Front Bag is a pocket for sunglasses with room for the case too. There are two FLEX Mount Pocket Stations on both sides of the Front Bag for mounting the two external side pockets.
• On the Rear Bag, there is a main interior compartment plus 5 pockets. The main storage area is 13" x 9.5" x 3", and is commonly used for charts, kneeboard, clipboards, manilla folder, documents, and even a 13” laptop (though it doesn't have an excess of padding, so a normal amount of care should be taken when carrying sensitive items). Two interior small pockets can be use for smaller items like eyeglasses, markers, highlighters, batteries, earplugs, etc.. The rear cover of the Rear Bag has three flat pockets on it. The main outside pocket with a flap can hold an iPad, or todays charts, or other documents. The vertical-zippered slip pocket is a great place to store your library of checklists. And finally, the flat half-height slip pocket is a great place to slip today's checklist or boarding pass, etc. For the business traveler with computer, the smaller pockets can hold cords, cables, chargers, adapters, mouse, thumb drives, documents, folders, and clipboards, while also carrying your personal items.
Besides being the perfect Pilot Flight Bag for aviation, the B10 is great for traveling and business. Load it up with your 13” laptop, your iPad, snacks, pillow, dvd’s, magazines, etc. And, while it will fit underneath the seat in front of you, if you want more foot room, just zip off the Rear Bag and put it in the overhead bin during the flight. -
B16 Contain$220.00Just the right amount of extra storage to carry those additional mission-critical items.
Includes Shoulder Strap and Main Handle.
The B16 Contain is BrightLine Bags answer for an IFR/Overnight Bag. With the B16, you can now carry multiple IFR Binders, 13” Laptop, or a change of clothes, all in one Pilot Flight Bag.
The B16 is 13.5” x 10.5” x 13”. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
The B16 Contain is the B10 Classic with a CS5 zipped into the middle of the Front and Rear Bag. It comes with a Side Pocket Alpha (Radio Pocket), Side Pocket Charlie (Pen Pocket), and a Side Pocket Delta (Double Pocket). The entire interior of the B16 is gray so one can easily identify the items inside. The B16 was developed to help those pilots that frequently fly IFR. The CS5 is large enough to handle a couple of IFR Binders, while you keep your main gear the way you like it in the Front and Rear Bags. When not flying IFR, simply remove the CS5, so you can fly with the smaller, efficient B10. The Side Pocket Charlie (Double Pocket) also allows you to carry more items on the outside for quick retrieval.
Storage on the B16 is accomplished in a number of ways.
The CS5 in the middle of the B16 affords the most voluminous storage. It is essentially a place to store large IFR Binders, 13" laptops, a change of clothes, etc. With the divider shelf, you can add two more sets of headsets. When in its B16 configuration, the CS5 can be accessed two ways. One way is by unzipping the top zippers and accessing your items from above. However, the CS5 comes with a divider shelf. So, how does one access the items below the shelf? By unzipping the zippers that run down the length of the CS5’s front panel, one can now open the bag towards the Front Bag, and access the items inside. There are two FLEX Mount Pocket stations on both sides of the CS5.
Finally, on the rear bag, you have six pockets in which to store your items. The main storage area for charts, kneeboard, documents, a 13” laptop. Two interior small pockets for eyeglasses, markers, batteries. The main outside pocket with flap for your iPad, todays charts, documents. The zippered slip pocket for manuals. And finally, the flat half pipe slip pocket for your checklist or boarding pass.
In addition to being an excellent IFR Pilot Flight Bag, the B16 is the perfect bag if you are travelling overnight. Keep your equipment the way you like it and add the CS5 to put in a change of clothes and a dopp kit. For longer trips away from home we recommend the B25 Carryall.
In all, the B16 gives you many choices when planning your specific mission. It is versatile enough to be used in VFR Conditions or heavy IFR conditions. The B16 is also a perfect overnight bag. So if you have many missions, and want only one Pilot Flight Bag, the B16 fits the bill. -
B25 Carryall$265.00A duffle bag on steroids. All of your standard gear plus large storage for more complex missions.
Includes 2 shoulder straps and 2 handles.
Designed primarily for aviators who need a Pilot Flight Bag to pack multiple overnight items, such as clothes, shoes, coolers, etc., the B25 Carryall fits the bill when maximum space is required. Also excellent for those in the Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical field.
The B25 is 13.5” x 10.5” x 19”. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
The B25 Carryall is the B10 with a CS11 zipped into the middle of the Front and Rear Bag. The B25 comes with all four pockets, the Side Pocket Alpha (Large Radio/Water Bottle Pocket), the Side Pocket Bravo (Small Radio Pocket), the Side Pocket Charlie (Pen Pocket), and the Side Pocket Delta (Double Pocket). The entire interior of the B25 is gray so one can easily identify the items inside. The B25 is a Pilot Flight Bag designed primarily for pilots that are away from home for extended periods of time. The main CS11 swallows up multiple days worth of clothes. In addition to clothes, the CS11 will carry a small cooler. The CS11 also comes with two vertical divider shelves. If needed, you can organize a 13” laptop, documents, and clipboards. As with any FLEX system bag, when not needing a Pilot Flight Bag with large CS11 capabilities, you can simply unzip and remove the CS11, and fly with the smaller, efficient B10.
Storage on the B25 is accomplished in a number of ways.
Next, in the middle of the B25 is the CS11. The CS11 is the largest Center Section in the FLEX System arsenal. The CS11 has a pocket directly on top for quick access to credit cards, change, small flashlight, etc. Opening the main compartment, one will find the CS11 comes with two vertical dividers for better organization of files, binders, or documents. One can also easily place a 13” laptop inside the main compartment. Remove the vertical dividers to open up the main compartment for clothes, dopp kit, cooler, etc.
There are four FLEX-Mount pocket stations on the outside of the bag, two on each side. You can install any four of your choice of the FLEX System side pockets onto the sides of the CS11 at these stations, including the Side Pocket Delta (Double Pocket).
The B25 can also fit onto telescoping suitcase handles. Unzip a zipper on the side of the B25 and slide the telescoping handle through the opening. This secures the B25 to the handle. The B25 will then sit on the top of the luggage.
In addition to being an excellent Pilot Flight Bag, the B25 is perfect for the Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical fields. Utilize the large storage to organize forms, documents, a 13” laptop. Use the smaller interior and outside pockets for flashlights, radios, tools, ammo, mobile phone, keys, camera, and other personal items.
The B25 is the ultimate Pilot Flight Bag companion for the traveling pilot. It allows you to add valuable storage, while keeping your gear organized the way you like it. Its versatility as a Utility Bag also lends itself to other markets where storage and efficiency are at a premium. -
Front Bag$83.00This is the starting point for most any configuration. It's like the "hub" of the FLEX System.
Comes with Main Handle, Shoulder Strap, and interior divider shelf.
This is the front portion of all of the standard configurations. It also works well by itself (with a Rear End Cap added).
The Front Bag is 13.5” x 10.5” x 5.0” on the outside. The main compartment is 13" tall, 10" wide and 3.5" deep on the inside. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The Front Bag can attach to all of the FLEX System modules except the Front End Cap.
There are two FLEX-Mount pocket stations on the outside of the bag, one on each side. You can install any two FLEX System side pockets of your choice onto the sides of the Front Bag at these stations.
The Front Bag can hold 2 aviation headsets of ANY brand. (If the headsets are especially large, you can simply "interleave" the two set - reverse the direction of one set, put one ear cup of the first set between the two ear cups of the other set - voila.)
The Front Bag comes with a Main Handle, a Shoulder Strap, and a Divider Shelf.
All of the FLEX modules will fit a 13 inch laptop. Including the 13 inch MacBook and 13 inch MacBook Air. These modules were not designed to be full-blown laptop-carrying modules, so the padding is adequate, but not amazing.
The interior of the main compartment and all of the pockets is gray so that easy to see all the stuff inside.
On the interior, the Front Bag has a removable and adjustable divider shelf (using Velcro) spanning the main large compartment horizontally (see the gallery). It also has three pockets on the inner surface of the front panel - one flat pocket for a couple of simple small documents like your passport, your checkbook, or a copy of your medical, and two fat pockets for carrying any variety of smaller items inside the main compartment.
There are nine pockets on the outer surface of the front panel. You can plainly see three different pocket locations. Each of these three pockets pocket compartments actually contain three sub-pockets: [1] A main pocket area. [2] A small secondary pocket tucked in the top of each pocket. [3] And then a small flat pocket on the cover of each pocket. These pockets are great for organizing all the little stuff in you personal and professional life.
One of the amazing and hidden features of this bag is that the cover of the top front pocket is completely removable so that it is easy to go get it embroidered with your company logo or your initials or your tail number etc. Try it out. You'll notice that the bottom surface of the pocket - both on the inside and outside - has Velcro and then you can just unzip the rest of the zipper and pull the pocket cover off.
There is a pocket on the top of the bag for your sunglasses. This pocket is actually fairly large and can hold a couple of pairs of sunglasses. Including their cases (as long as the cases are small).
There is a business card holder on top of the bag. The clear plastic window has a narrow extension that sticks out about an inch outside the business card holder frame. THIS IS NOT A MISTAKE. It is there by design. The purpose of this extra flap is to tuck back in under the business cards in the holder to keep those cards from falling out.
The bottom of the bag has two plastic "skid plates" to help keep the bottom of the bag off the ground.
The Front Bag is not intended to be carried by itself without anything zipped onto its rear surface. The rear exterior surface of the Front Bag is just a "naked" panel with no pockets. When nothing is attached to this surface, the separation zipper (the main zipper that allows other FLEX modules to be zipped on) ends up being rather exposed because it is just "hanging off" the backside of the bag. (Plus it just plain looks bad.) If you plan to carry the Front Bag by itself you should make sure you have a Rear End Cap available as part of your FLEX system. This will do several things all at once: [1] It will "complete" the rear surface of the bag making it look finished and professional. [2] It will protect the separation zipper by closing it off. [3] And you will get all the extra storage that comes from the pockets on the Rear End Cap itself, as well as the space between the Rear End Cap and the Front Bag.
The entire front panel of the Front Bag is not detachable. It is permanently connected to the Front Bag. It is easy to think that this is the same piece as the Front End Cap. But they are different. This front panel of the Front Bag is permanently attached. The Front End Cap Is a separate piece that can be attached to (and completely detached from) the front surface of any of the other modules of the FLEX System. -
Rear Bag$49.00This is the rear bag on the current B10 Classic. It is 13.5” x 10.5” x 3”. Holds Charts, iPads and more.

This is the rear portion of all of the standard configurations. It is designed primarily to be a document bag. But, of course, it is a good size to hold all sorts of different stuff like a change of clothes, your lunch, a laptop and/or an iPad, or simply some additional gear that you need to carry.
The Rear Bag is 13.5” x 10.5” x 3.5” on the outside. The main compartment is 13" tall, 10" wide and 3.0" deep on the inside. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The Rear Bag can attach to all of the FLEX System modules except the Rear End Cap.
There are zero FLEX-Mount pocket stations on the outside of the Rear Bag. (It's a little too narrow.)
There is a simple 1" nylon strap on the top of the bag to act as a basic handle if you need to grab the bag by itself. There are also two Switch Snap quick release buckles, one on each side of the bag, which allow you to attach a Main Handle or a Shoulder Strap.
The Rear Bag does not come with a Main Handle or a Shoulder Strap.
All of the FLEX modules will fit a 13 inch laptop. Including the 13 inch MacBook and 13 inch MacBook Air. These modules were not designed to be full-blown laptop-carrying modules, so the padding is adequate, but not much more than that.
The interior of the main compartment is gray so that easy to see all the stuff inside.
On the interior, the Rear Bag has two narrow pockets that are vertically-oriented over on the right side-wall of the bag. The lower of these two pockets is larger and is a great place to store extra pens and markers and eyeglasses. This pocket is also accessible from the outside of the bag through a zipper found on the outer sidewall of the bag. The uppermost of these two pockets is smaller and it's a great place to store spare batteries, ear plugs, or other small items.
There are three pockets on the outer surface of the rear panel. One main flat pocket that covers the full width and height of the rear panel that is great for storing your iPad or other tablet computer, a thin stack of documents or a magazine or two. This primary pocket is accessed from the top and has a cover flap that is secured with Velcro. There is a second flat pocket on the outside of the first one that is somewhat smaller that is accessed through a vertical zipper on the rear panel. This is a great place to store a few smaller documents such as some travel documents or receipts etc. And finally there is a third flat half pipe slip pocket that acts as a great place to store a couple of basic documents that you want to have easy access to such as today's checklists or your boarding pass etc.
The bottom of the bag has two plastic "skid plates" to help keep the bottom of the bag off the ground.
The Rear Bag is not intended to be carried by itself without anything zipped onto its rear surface. The front exterior surface of the Rear Bag is just a "naked" panel with no pockets. With nothing attached to this surface, the separation zipper (the main zipper that allows other FLEX modules to be zipped on) ends up being rather exposed because it is just "hanging off" the front side of the bag. (Plus it just plain looks bad.) If you plan to carry the Rear Bag by itself you should make sure you have a Front End Cap available as part of your FLEX system. This will do several things all at once: [1] It will "complete" the rear surface of the bag making it look finished and professional. [2] It will protect the separation zipper by closing it off. [3] And you will get all the extra storage that comes from the pockets on the Front End Cap itself, as well as the space between the Front End Cap and the Rear Bag.
The rear panel of the Rear Bag is not detachable. It is permanently connected to the Rear Bag. It is easy to think that this is the same piece as the Rear End Cap. But they are different. This rear panel of the Rear Bag is permanently attached. The Rear End Cap Is a separate piece that can be attached to (and completely detached from) the rear surface of any of the other modules of the FLEX System. -
Front End Cap$49.00The Front End Cap mimics the front panel of the Front Bag. It zips onto the front side of any module except the Front Bag.
It comes with a portfolio handle.
The Front End Cap mimics the front of the Front Bag. It is 13.5" x 10.5" x 1.25".
The Front End Cap is primarily for FLEX users that want the utility of the front bag, but do not need the storage of a Front Bag. The Front End Cap attaches to the CS2, CS5, and CS11 when there is not a need for Front Bag Storage.
There are nine pockets on the outer surface of the Front End Cap. You can plainly see three different pocket locations. Each of these three pockets pocket compartments actually contain three pockets: [1] A main pocket area. This Main pocket area is designed to hold your mobile device, wallet and keys. [2] A small secondary pocket tucked in the top of each pocket. This pocket is designed to hold a flashlight and fuel tester. [3] And then a small flat pocket on the front cover of each pocket. This is designed to hold your electronic E6B, camera, business cards, iPod. These pockets are great for organizing all the little stuff in your personal and professional life.
The Front End Cap is not designed to be used alone because the separation zipper would be exposed and could be damaged. Always zip the Front End Cap onto one of the other FLEX System modules.
A great FLEX System option that works really well is to zip this Front End Cap onto a Rear End Cap. This forms a bag that we call The Porfolio. This gives you a nice thin bag that is perfect for carrying your iPad, some documents, cords, cables, etc. It also turns out that the 13" Mac Book Air, and even the 13" Mac Book Pro will fit between these two End Caps. To carry the Porfolio, you'll make use the included Portfolio Handle which attach to the bag with the two small rectangular clips. These clips have a gap in them which allows you to thread them into the two small loops on the side of the Front End Cap. (There are two more loops on the top of the bag as an option.) DO NOT CARRY ANY BAG BIGGER THAN THE PORTFOLIO WITH THE PORTFOLIO HANDLE. Alway use the Main Handle when the Front End Cap is attached to any of the main modules.
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The Front End Cap can attach to all of the front panels of the FLEX System modules (so this excludes the Front Bag since the Front Bag doesn't have an available front surface.) -
Rear End Cap$25.00The Rear End Cap mimics the rear panel of the Rear Bag. It zips onto the back side of any module to complete that module and to give extra storage.

The Rear End Cap is designed to mimic the rear panel of the Rear Bag. It is used to finish the exposed rear surface of any module.
The Rear End Cap is 13.5" x 10.5".
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The Rear End Cap can attach to the rear surface of any FLEX System module (which excludes the Rear Bag since the Rear Bag only has a front surface).
There are three flat pockets on the outer surface of the Rear End Cap. One main flat pocket that covers the full width and height of the rear panel that is great for storing your iPad or other tablet computer, a thin stack of documents or a magazine or two. The primary pocket is accessed from the top and has a cover flap that is secured with Velcro. There is a second flat pocket on the outside of the first one that is somewhat smaller that is accessed through a vertical zipper on the rear panel. This is a great place to store a few smaller documents such as some travel documents or receipts etc. It also turns out that the iPad 3 with it's standard Apple cover slips right into this pocket. And finally there is a third flat half-height slip pocket that acts as a great place to store a couple of basic documents that you want to have easy access to such as today's checklists or your boarding pass etc.
A great FLEX System option that works really well is to zip this Rear End Cap onto a Front End Cap. This forms a bag that we call The Porfolio. This gives you a nice thin bag that is perfect for carrying your iPad, some documents, cords, cables, etc. See the full description, including the use of the Portfolio Handle. -
Center Section 2"$39.00Designed to carry 13" laptops and tablet computers as well as documents, folders, clipboards, etc.

The CS2 is designed for carrying 13" laptops, iPads and assorted documents.
This center section is 13.5” x 10.5” x 2".
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The CS2 can attach to all of the FLEX System modules.
The CS2 can be used in any configuration and is not designed to be used by itself due to the possibility of damaging the exposed zippers. You will always want to have something (either another module or an End Cap) zipped onto both sides of the CS2 to protect the zippers.
The smallest configuration is the B2, consisting of a Front End Cap, a CS2, and a Rear End Cap. However, the CS2 can be added to any configuration to add roughly an extra two inches of storage for your 13" laptop or other similarly-sized objects. Simply zip the CS2 into a B10, B16, or B25 to get added storage for your 13" laptop, iPad, or folders and documents.
The CS2 is padded on all sides. It is an adequate amount of padding for basic protection. It is not heavily padded, so you'll want to carry sensitive items with a normal amount of care. -
Center Section 5"$59.00This section has top access AND rear access. It includes a divider shelf. Perfect way to add a lot more space to your bag.

The CS5 was developed primarily for our IFR Flight Customers. With the B10, you get enough storage for VFR to light IFR flying. By adding a CS5, you can now add IFR Binders and documents, without changing the setup of the B10. In addition to IFR equipment, the CS5 is perfect for a couple days worth or clothes, two more sets of headsets, or a 13" laptop.
The CS5 is 13.5" x 10.5" x 5". (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The CS5 can attach to all of the FLEX System modules.
The CS5 can be used effectively in its Pre-Configured bag the B16. The B16, consisting of a Front Bag, a CS5, a rear bag, and three pockets affords unbelievable storage and organization for the IFR Pilot. And, because it is a FLEX bag, when you are not flying IFR, you can simply remove the CS5. Of course, if you are flying somewhere overnight, the CS5 allows you to carry extra clothes, a 13"laptop, or more headsets, if needed.
The CS5 makes a great bag all by itself. By adding a Front End Cap and a Rear End Cap, you now have an amazing carrying case. One might ask how they access all the equipment/clothes in the CS5. On the CS5 there is top level access. Simply unzip the top zipper, which is also a sunglasses holder, and reach down and grab your items. However, the CS5 comes with a divider shelf. It can be hard to get those items underneath the divider shelf. On the CS5, you can also zip open the front panel, allowing you to grab all of the items inside.
There are also two FLEX-Mount pocket stations on the outside of the bag, one on each side. You can install any two of your choice of the FLEX System side pockets onto the sides of the CS5 at these stations.
The bottom of the bag has two plastic "skid plates" to help keep the bottom of the bag off the ground. -
Center Section 11"$94.00Cavernous storage for multi-day missions. Fit large items, clothing, books, clipboards, or documents.
Includes two vertical divider shelves, a handle and a shoulder strap
The CS11 was designed primarily for pilots that frequently travel overnight. It will swallow several changes of clothes, a 13” laptop with room for binders and documents, or a small cooler. In addition to aviation, in its B25 Carryall configuration, the CS11 works well in the Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical fields.
The CS11 is 13.5” x 10.5” x 11”. (And remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.)
The CS11 comes with a handle and a shoulder strap.
NOTE: The FLEX modules WILL NOT WORK with (will not zip onto) any older BrightLine Bag. The zippers had to be of a different type to allow this modularity concept to work. The CS11 can attach to all of the FLEX System modules.
The CS11 has a pocket directly on top for quick access to credit cards, change, small flashlight, etc. Opening the main compartment, one will find a gray interior for finding items easier. The CS11 comes with two vertical dividers for better organization of files, binders, or documents.
The CS11 is the main Center Section of the B25 Carryall. The B25 consists of a Front and Rear Bag, a CS11 and four pockets. This is the largest Pre-Configured bag in the FLEX System inventory. The B25 allows you to zip in your clothes or extra equipment when traveling overnight. When done, simply remove the CS11 and continue with the B10. The intent being that you do not have to re-arrange your equipment when changing missions. Simply add and remove the Center Sections.
The CS11 makes a nice bag on its own with a Front and Rear End Cap. The CS11 was not designed to be used on its own because of the potential damage to exposed zippers. Add the Front and Rear End Caps to complete the fit and finish of the bag. Plus, you get the added pockets of the Front Bag and the rear pockets of the Rear Bag, without the storage capacity of the two. Load your clothes in the CS11, your personal items in the Front End Cap, and your iPad and documents in the Rear End Cap, for example.
The CS11 can also fit onto telescoping suitcase handles. Unzip a zipper on the side of the CS11 and slide the telescoping handle through the opening. This secures the CS11 to the handle. The CS11 will then sit on the top of the luggage.
The bottom of the bag has four plastic "skid plates" to help keep the bottom of the bag off the ground. -
